 Nutritional Benefits

Avocado is a delicious creamy fruit that is filled with vitamins and energy. Many believe that the high fat content of avocados is bad for people who are trying to get lean. However, what they don’t realize is that the monounsaturated fats contained in avocados help to increase your basal metabolic rate, help reduce appetite and prevent you from overeating. Avocado has a large amount of potassium which is 3 times more than the amount found in bananas.  They are also amazing for the skin and hair as they are rich in vitamin E and B. Eat sweet or savoury…the creamy richness will never do you wrong 🙂

Shrimp are small in size but they are huge in nutritional value and health benefits. They are loaded with vitamin D, vitamin B3, and zinc. Shrimp are also are packed with protein and Leptin.  Leptin is a hormone that plays a key role in regulating the body’s energy expenditure, helping you burn more fat and controlling overeating. The high amounts of zinc and copper in shrimp play an important role in the production of new cells in hair and skin, which prevent hair loss and contribute to hair thickness.  Who would have thought shrimp equals beautiful locks!
