Recently, the Strong-Athlete.com crew got to attend a media session at Kombat Arts in Mississauga for an up and coming professional boxer, Marc “Gwapo” Pagcaliwangan. Only 22 years old, Gwapo will be having his first professional fight on Saturday September 22, 2012 in Montreal, Qc. Being a 3 time Golden Gloves champion, Marc is no stranger to intense competition. It’s because of the sheer talent and natural inclination to the sweet science that he is the youngest boxer sponsored by Lonsdale.
A role model for aspiring amateur Filipino-Canadian boxers, Marc displays a work ethic that consumes entire days.
